My botanical and linework pieces usually start as small sketches, moments where I’m experimenting, unwinding, or testing out textures. I like working with simple lines and ink because it’s honest: every mark shows. These drawings explore plants, patterns, and little creatures through that kind of stripped-down, hand-drawn approach.

I started these as experiments with trending line-art styles. I kept the clean botanical look, but with a bit of attitude.
These two were my favorites in a series I did called “uninspirational quates”.

I grew up in Oregon, so the outdoors will always feel like home to me. But I also love the mechanical, the technical, and the creative mix of both. So I imagined a little robot who stumbles across a misty forest and just… decides to stay.
